You can leave a legacy that brings remarkable lasting transformation in one or more partner communities through Bequests, Gifts of Life Insurance, and other means of investment, including Charitable Gift Annuity, Pooled Income Fund, Charitable Remainder Trust, Charitable Lead Trust, Life Estate Reserved, amongst others.
Fund a Community Engagement Catalyst ($1200/yr. or $100/mo.)
You can take action by supporting a Community Engagement Catalyst through our Train the Trainer program, contributing reoccurring funding toward their experiential and educational training. This program is the best way to ensure communities have catalysts working alongside them as they are actively involved and participating in making and shaping decisions that affect the daily realities of their lives.
Community Leader Support
Build the capacity of young Haitians from our partner communities so they can return to their villages and take leadership in supporting their own communities. You can take action by supporting 5 emerging leaders in nursing school from 3 partner communities. We have a current pledge of $5000 and are looking for an additional $5000 in support.
Transformational Impact Investor ($25,000)
As an impact investor, you can help ensure COFHED’s sustainable future by investing in our revenue generating enterprises. Your investment allows us to self-fund operating expenses in the field, and support our community engagement work.
Peer-to-Peer Fundraising
You can make your own impact by involving your family, friends, colleagues and neighbors in the mission and vision of COFHED! In this way, you can use your own skills, interests and passions to generate funds for COFHED and also spread the word of our transformational work in rural Haiti. Our new Community Engagement Center helps make our work more effective.
It’s more than a building — our Community Engagement Center is the beating heart of our ongoing work to partner with the communities of southern Haiti. Part headquarters, part training center, it’s where our unique and powerful Train the Trainer model comes to life, and where our new cohorts of Field Engagement Catalysts receive the skills to make an impact in new local communities.

Phase 1: NEARLY COMPLETE
Office spaces for staff, guests quarters, Train the Trainer pilot program classroom, garage and facilities.
Phase 2: HELP US BEGIN
Program support spaces, six classrooms for the training program, cafeteria/conference room, kitchen, community resource center and gift shop.
The first phase of our Community Engagement Center is almost ready, but we need your support to begin phase 2.
Volunteer To Support COFHED
Another way you can support COFHED is through your time! During COFHED’s annual Gala Event, we are always in need of volunteers willing to help with set-up, take down, decorations, and directing the guests. We will likely have additional volunteer opportunities in the near future, and are open to working with your gifts, passions and interests in a unique way that allows you serve COFHED at your best.
